Lindsey Gottler

President and Chief Scientific Officer at Proteos

Lindsey Gottler, Ph.D., has extensive work experience in the field of scientific research and academia. Lindsey began their career in 2002 at the University of Michigan, where they worked as a graduate student until 2008. During this time, they also served as a postdoctoral researcher from April to July 2008. In 2008, Lindsey joined Proteos, initially as a scientist and later as the Director of Protein Purification. From 2018 to August 2022, they held the position of Chief Scientific Officer at Proteos. Currently, Lindsey is the President and Chief Scientific Officer at Proteos, a role they have held since August 2022. Alongside their work at Proteos, Lindsey also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the Western Michigan University Homer Stryker, M.D. School of Medicine, a position they have held since January 2017.

Lindsey Gottler has a strong education background in the field of chemistry. Lindsey obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Kalamazoo College, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. After completing their undergraduate studies, Lindsey pursued a PhD in Chemical Biology at the University of Michigan. Lindsey dedicated six years, from 2002 to 2008, to in-depth research and furthering their knowledge in this interdisciplinary field.
