Mikael Nilsson

Mikael Nilsson has extensive experience in the field of analytical chemistry, currently serving as an AD Senior Scientist and Senior Analytical Chemist at PolyPeptide Group since June 1999. Responsibilities include analytical method development, validation, and transfer for release testing under cGMP, focusing on a diverse range of analytes from small molecules to peptide APIs. Mikael has also worked as an Analytical Biochemist at Glycorex AB, where tasks included enzymatic synthesis of carbohydrates and purification using chromatography and analytical techniques such as HPLC and NMR. Educationally, Mikael holds a Ph.D. in Technical Analytical Chemistry from Lund University and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University.
