Adam J. Thompson

Adam J. Thompson, CPA has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Adam J. started their career at PwC in 2005 as a Senior Associate and worked their way up to becoming a Manager at PwC Switzerland in 2009. In 2012, they became a Senior Manager at PwC, where they served Fortune 500 audit clients such as Kraft Foods, Mondelez, Chiquita Brands International, and Tree.com. In 2014, Adam joined Polypore International as a Financial Reporting Manager and later became the Corporate Controller. Adam J. then took on the role of Director of Finance for Celgard before being promoted to Vice President Finance for Daramic & Celgard. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President Finance at Polypore International.

Adam J. Thompson, CPA has a strong education background in accounting and business administration. In 2004, they attended UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, where they pursued a Master of Accountancy degree with a focus on accounting. This program provided him with advanced knowledge and skills in the field. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2004, Adam studied at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA).

In addition to their formal education, Adam holds the prestigious Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation. Adam J. obtained this certification in October 2006 from the North Carolina State Board of CPA Examiners. This certification further demonstrates their expertise and commitment to the field of accounting.
