Alexandre Bernard has a diverse work experience that spans over 14 years. Alexandre began their career as a Mechanical Engineer Intern at Groupe Stavibel inc in 2006, where they completed estimations, prepared construction documents, and conducted technical calculations for building mechanical projects. In the following year, they interned as a Mechanical Engineer at Shell, where they focused on safety instrument reevaluation, piping modification design, and preparing construction documents. Alexandre then joined Pomerleau Inc in 2007 as an Electromechanical Intern, participating in technical meetings, updating minutes, and preparing construction documents. Alexandre returned to Shell in 2008 as a Mechanical Engineer Intern, responsible for failure analysis, developing coupling lists, and collaborating with the rotating equipment department. In 2009, Alexandre rejoined Pomerleau Inc as an Electromechanical Coordinator, providing technical support, completing estimates, and participating in LEED, Design-Build, and P3 projects. From 2009 to 2018, they held various roles at Pomerleau, including Electromechanical Coordinator, Project Manager, Sr Project Manager, and Project Director. In these roles, they managed project teams, developed project management standards, produced financial forecasts, negotiated contracts, and coordinated mechanical and electrical works for different projects. Alexandre's most recent position is Director of Building Construction at Renouveau La Fontaine, which they have held since September 2020.

Alexandre Bernard earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering (Génie Mécanique) from the University of Ottawa, completing their studies from 2004 to 2009.
