Eric Gooden

Eric Gooden has extensive experience in marketing and leadership roles. Eric is currently the Corporate Director of Marketing at Pomeroy Lodging LP, where they direct the omni-channel marketing strategy for a portfolio of hotels, resorts, spas, ski resorts, and gaming centers across Alberta, British Columbia, and the United States.

In 2011, Eric co-founded Pride In Business, an organization dedicated to connecting 2SLGBTQ+ owned and operated businesses and professionals in the Calgary area. Eric works with national sponsors to produce networking events and publishes online content for the professional 2SLGBTQ+ community.

Prior to their current role, Eric worked as a Corporate Marketing Manager at both Bellstar Hotels & Resorts and Bellstar Realty. Eric was responsible for marketing strategies and initiatives for both companies.

Earlier in their career, Eric served as the Marketing & Creative Director at Hype Media. Eric worked with corporate and non-profit companies to develop communication and marketing strategies, provided creative direction and design across various channels, and produced corporate events and meetings.

Additionally, Eric has experience in the non-profit sector as the President of DanceSport Alberta, where they organized dancesport events/competitions and managed the board of directors. Eric also served as a Director for the association.

Overall, Eric Gooden has a strong background in marketing, leadership, and event management, with a focus on driving revenue and connecting diverse business communities.

Eric Gooden earned a Bachelor of Applied Communications degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, and Public Relations from Mount Royal University. Eric also holds a certification as an A+ Certified Computer Professional from CompTIA, obtained in 2002.
