Rob Keefer

Rob Keefer has a long and varied work experience. Rob began their career in 2001 as a Principal Consultant at Strategic Data Systems, where they spearheaded the establishment of the SDS Agile Development Center. In 2011, they joined POMIET as the CTO, where they provided research, design, and prototyping support to POMIET teams. In 2019, they became a Visiting Researcher at Wright State University, where they researched and developed image processing models to enhance the capabilities of assistive reading platforms and augmented reality based alternatives for disabled students navigating a college campus. In 2018, they joined Illumination Works as the Director of Research and Innovation and the Director of Data Science, where they researched and developed state of the art human-machine teaming solutions utilizing Augmented Reality and Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning, and led a team of data scientists and engineers in the delivery of consumer and enterprise solutions. In 2020, they became a Fellow at Harmonics Way.

Rob Keefer holds a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from Wright State University, an MSE in Industrial and Human Factors Engineering from Wright State University, an MS in Computer Science from Wright State University, and a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from Lawrence Technological University. Rob also holds a Project Management Certificate from Xavier University.
