Ray Layson has extensive experience in the field of civil engineering and aviation design. Currently serving as an Airport Aviation Engineer since June 2021, Ray also holds the position of Airfield Civil Designer and has been involved in aviation airfield engineering at Pond & Company since 2014. Previous roles include Civil Engineer at Rohadfox Construction Control Services, President of AEC Consultants specializing in Civil 3D consulting and training, and Electrical Engineering Technician at Siemens Industry, focusing on electrical circuits in CAD. Earlier in the career, Ray worked as an Autodesk AEC Consultant, providing civil engineering consultation and sales from 1995 to 1999.
