Rui Li

Rui Li has a diverse work experience, starting with a role as a Graduate Intern at PostNL Parcels in 2012. In this position, Rui Li contributed to the development of new customer-directed B2B segmentation and parcel delivery services. They also created the concept of an account manager tool to enhance B2B customer buying propensity.

Following this, Rui Li joined McKinsey & Company as a Consultant in 2014 and worked until 2016, advising C-level executives and senior management across various industries in Europe and North America. Their expertise included strategy, merger management, pricing, supply chain, operating model design, and advanced analytics.

In 2016, Rui Li became the Head of Operations at International Bike Group / Fietsenwinkel.nl for a year, before returning to McKinsey & Company as a Consultant in 2018. They primarily focused on advising multinationals in technology, telecommunications, grocery, banking, multimedia, and oil & gas sectors.

Since then, Rui Li has taken on several advisory and board roles. They joined ZeroLight as a Board of Directors Member in 2021, followed by positions as a Board Observer at Laka in 2022, an Advisory Board Member at Bikemap in 2022, and an Advisory Board Member at Bringly in 2023. Currently, Rui Li holds the position of Investment Manager at Ponooc, starting in 2020.

Rui Li's education history begins with their secondary education at Stedelijk Gymnasium Nijmegen from 1999 to 2005. During this time, they studied Nature & Technology, Economy, Philosophy, and Latin. In addition, they took two bachelor courses at Radboud University, one on Criminal Law from 2003 to 2004 and another on Dutch Politics in comparative perspective from 2002 to 2003.

Following their secondary education, Rui Li pursued a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design Engineering at Delft University of Technology from 2005 to 2009. They then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Strategic Product Design from the same university, graduating in 2013.

In 2017, Rui Li continued their educational journey by enrolling in INSEAD, where they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2018.
