Teemu Romppainen

Teemu Romppainen is an accomplished Functional Safety Engineer at Ponsse since November 2021, with previous experience as a System Engineer in Functional Safety at Transtech Ltd, where responsibilities included creating functional safety documentation for double deck coaches and conducting safety analysis for trams. Teemu’s background includes various roles in maintenance supervision and technical assistance at Valmet Automotive, along with hands-on mechanical work at Dimense Oy and operational roles at Talvivaara Sotkamo Oy. Teemu holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oulu, obtained between 2010 and 2016.
