Sarah Stelter

Marine Biologist at Pontchartrain Partners

Sarah Stelter is a marine biologist with extensive experience in environmental protection and species observation. Currently at Pontchartrain Partners, LLC since February 2016, Sarah is responsible for creating and submitting various environmental documents and has served as the Primary Manatee Observer during a significant project. Concurrently, Sarah has been part of RPS Group since November 2008, acting as a protected species observer on seismic ships to ensure the protection of threatened and endangered species. Previous roles include serving as a protected species observer for LGL Alaska Research Associates and a North Pacific Groundfish Observer at Saltwater Inc., where data collection and compliance with regulations for commercial fishing vessels were key responsibilities. Additionally, experience includes working as a Pacific Drift Gillnet Observer at Frank Orth and Associates. Sarah holds a Master of Professional Science in Fishing and Fisheries Sciences and Management from the University of Miami and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Marine Sciences from the University of Hawai‘i.
