Lina Kaminski

Lina Kaminski, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Lina began their career as an Undergraduate Researcher at Ben Gurion University of the Negev in 2005. After that, they worked as a Microbiologist/Quality Assurance Analyst at Nestlé Professional in 2006. Lina then returned to Ben Gurion University as a M.Sc/Ph.D combined track researcher and also served as a Teaching Assistant from 2007 to 2014. Following this, Lina worked as a Postdoctoral Scientist and Technology Transfer Intern at Albert Einstein College of Medicine from 2014 to 2018. Lina briefly served as an Analyst at The Solution Lab, Inc. in 2018. Lina then joined Canaccord Genuity LLC as a Research Associate and later as a Senior Research Associate from 2018 to 2020. In 2020, they joined JonesTrading as a Vice President, Biotechnology Research Analyst. Currently, Lina is working as a Principal at Pontifax Venture Capital since August 2021.

Lina Kaminski, Ph.D. obtained their education in Life Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Lina completed their B.Sc. from 2003 to 2006, followed by an M.Sc. from 2007 to 2009. Lina then went on to earn their Ph.D. from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their academic degrees, Lina has also obtained several certifications including the SIE-Securities Industry Essentials Examination, Series 63, Series 86, Series 87, and completed a course on "The Business of Science: Applying the Scientific Method to Succeed in Industry" from SciPhD.com.
