Hee Dae Kim

Hee Dae Kim has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. Hee Dae began their career as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1991. Hee Dae then worked at KT as a Senior Engineer and later as a Program Monitor focused on Satellite Payload and Bus. In 1997, they joined Hyundai Electronics where they held the positions of Senior Manager, Telecom Systems, and Program Manager, Satellite Payloads. Hee Dae then moved to Global Convergence Technology Korea as a Vice President before joining Samsung Electronics in 2001. At Samsung Electronics, they held various leadership roles including Program Director and VP of Sales in different divisions. In 2013, they briefly worked as Senior Vice President at Thales Korea before joining Poongsan Corporation in 2014 as the Chief Technical Officer.

Hee Dae Kim has a High School Diploma from Kyeongbuk Highschool, earned between 1973 and 1976. Hee Dae went on to attend Yonsei University from 1977 to 1984, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering. From 1985 to 1987, Hee Dae Kim studied at Wayne State University, earning a Master of Engineering in Applied Sciences. Finally, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Applied Sciences at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1987 to 1991.
