Liina Lehtonen

Liina Lehtonen is a seasoned professional in the venture capital space, currently serving as a principal at Butterfly Ventures since December 2019, with a focus on early-stage investments in deep tech and science-based innovations. As a member of Global Women in VC since May 2024, Lehtonen actively engages in promoting women's participation in venture capital. Previous roles include board observer positions at Naava and Popit Ltd, and involvement in The NextGen Project as a community member, advising on strategy and leadership. Lehtonen founded Meliocure, developing a self-management app for anxiety, and has experience founding Conterest and Linus Consulting, providing marketing and consulting services respectively. Education includes pursuing a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts at Gerrit Rietveld Academie and various studies across renowned institutions.
