Katherine Patton

Katherine Patton has a diverse work experience starting in 2012 as a Party Coordinator at Pump It Up of West Chester. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as an English Instructor. In 2017, Katherine held multiple roles including a Research Assistant at the Teachers College, Columbia University, and the Mortimer B. Zuckerman Mind Brain and Behavior Institute. Katherine also worked as an Independent Contractor at the Columbia Bartending Agency and School of Mixology. In 2018, Katherine served as a Software Engineering Intern at Scholastic and Developer-Web Applications at the Columbia Daily Spectator. Katherine continued their professional journey in 2019 as an Associate Engineering Consultant at Levvel.io. In 2020, they transitioned to an Engineering Consultant role at the same company. Katherine then joined Code Ninjas in 2020 as a Code Sensei until 2021. Katherine then moved on to Poppy Flowers, where they became a Full Stack Software Engineer. In 2022, they were promoted to the position of Senior Software Engineer, taking the role of product manager and tech lead on a React and Serverless application. At Poppy Flowers, Katherine built a custom payment platform with a Stripe integration, allowing the processing of millions of dollars.

Katherine Patton pursued their education at Columbia University from 2014 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Psychology. Additionally, they attended Sciences Po from 2014 to 2016, and obtained another Bachelor's degree in Political Science.
