Alina Giannotti

Alina Giannotti has a diverse and extensive work experience. Alina began their career as an Audit Associate at PwC in 2002 and worked there until 2004. Alina then joined R&G Financial Co. as a Financial Reporting Analyst for a year. In 2005, they became a Financial Analyst in the Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions Division at Popular, where they worked until 2008. During this period, they took on the role of Manager in the Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions Division and was responsible for significant acquisition and sales projects. From 2012 to 2014, Alina was the Manager of the Procurement Department at Popular, before transitioning to the role of Project Manager in the Operations Division from 2014 to 2015. Alina was then promoted to Vice President & Manager in the Operations Division from 2015 to 2018. Before their current position, they held the role of Vice President & Manager in the Operational Excellence Office at Popular from 2018 to 2022. Currently, Alina is the Senior Vice President & Division Manager of Strategic Sourcing & Procurement at Popular, a position they have held since 2023.

Alina Giannotti earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras, from 1998 to 2002. Alina has also obtained various additional certifications, including a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in January 2020. Alina is currently pursuing a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from the University of Michigan, which they are expected to obtain in 2023. Alina is also a Certified Public Accountant according to the Colegio de Contadores Públicos Autorizados de Puerto Rico, although the specific year of obtaining this certification is unknown.
