Janine Gawel

Janine Gawel is an experienced professional in business development and grant management, currently serving as the Associate Director of Business Development at PRB since February 2018, with a progression through roles including Business Development Manager and Budgeter and Proposal Coordinator. Prior to this, Janine held the position of Grants Manager at Skills for Chicagoland's Future for one year and worked as Development Coordinator at the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning from September 2014 to February 2016. Janine's earlier experience includes serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Community Development, as well as administrative and development roles at PAWS Chicago. Academic credentials include a Master of Public Affairs in Public Finance and Nonprofit Management from Indiana University Bloomington and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in Public Service and a Minor in Economics from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
