Valerie Frisby

Valerie Frisby is an experienced educator currently serving as a 5th grade teacher at York County School Division since June 2020. Prior to this role, Valerie has been a 4th grade teacher at Poquoson City Public Schools since 2012 and completed a PDS internship at Fairfax County Public Schools in 2011-2012. Valerie's teaching career began as a teacher assistant at the George Mason University Child Development Center from 2008 to 2011. Valerie holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University, earned between 2010 and 2012, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Integrative Studies from the same institution, obtained from 2007 to 2010.
