Mary Ellen Smith

Mary Ellen Smith is an experienced Senior Account Manager at Poretta & Orr, having joined the company in December 2019 after serving as an Account Manager. In this role, Mary Ellen manages client relationships and handles all meeting, event, exhibit, and tradeshow booth needs. Prior to this, Mary Ellen worked at Superior Woodcraft, Inc. as an Executive Assistant, where responsibilities included human resources, benefits administration, payroll, and project accounting. Mary Ellen also co-owned Smith Thompson Group, a meeting planning company focused on the pharmaceutical industry, achieving WBENC certification. Earlier in their career, Mary Ellen was the Managing Director of Advanced Meeting Services at Advanced Clinical Communications, Inc. Mary Ellen holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Rowan University.
