Vice President Communications, Sustainability And Politics at Porsche Deutschland

Dr. Sebastian Rudolph has held several leadership positions in communications and public affairs throughout their career. Dr. Sebastian most recently served as the Head of Global Group Communications at Volkswagen Group starting in September 2022. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Communications, Sustainability, and Politics at Porsche AG, starting in November 2019. From 2016 to 2019, they were the Head of Corporate Communications & Public Affairs at Bilfinger. Dr. Sebastian also served as the Head of Communications at the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure from 2013 to 2016. Before that, they held various communication roles at the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development. Dr. Sebastian also has experience in journalism, having worked as a correspondent and deputy chief correspondent for Bavarian Television and as a correspondent for the ARD network in Rome. Dr. Sebastian began their career as a trainee at n-tv news channel.

Dr. Sebastian Rudolph holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Political Sciences from the Free University of Berlin, Otto-Suhr-Institute of Political Sciences, which they obtained from 2005 to 2008. Prior to their doctoral studies, they completed their Master's degree in Political Sciences from the same institution, from 1999 to 2002. Dr. Sebastian also earned their Bachelor's degree in Political Sciences from the Free University of Berlin, Otto-Suhr-Institute of Political Sciences, from 1997 to 1999.

Dr. Rudolph has engaged in executive education programs to further their knowledge and skills. Dr. Sebastian completed an Executive Education program at Harvard Business School in 2022 and 2023. Earlier, they pursued Executive Education at Georgetown University McDonough School of Business in 2019 and Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service in 2018. Additionally, Dr. Rudolph obtained an Executive MBA from Mannheim Business School, completing their studies in 2020.
