Rabbi Mendy Carlebach

Rabbi Mendy Carlebach serves as a Chaplain for both the Port Authority of NY & NJ Police Department and the South Brunswick Police Department, roles held since 2010 and 2007, respectively. Rabbi Carlebach is also an appointed member of the Interfaith Advisory Council for the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security since 2012 and has been a Commission Member of the New Jersey-Israel Commission since 2011, with reappointments from Governors Chris Christie and Phil Murphy. In addition, Rabbi Carlebach is the Director of Chabad since 2003. Educationally, Rabbi Carlebach holds a Bachelor's degree in Rabbinical studies from the Rabbinical College of Australia-Sydney (1999-2001).
