Colleen Carroll, EdD, currently serves as Deputy Superintendent for the Port Chester-Rye Union Free School District, following a progressive career in educational leadership. Previous roles include Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction and Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment in the same district, as well as Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Personnel at the Union Free School District of the Tarrytowns. In this latter role, Colleen oversaw K-12 curriculum implementation, enhanced student engagement through Total Participation Techniques, and significantly improved reading abilities for at-risk students. Colleen's experience also encompasses positions as Director of Literacy at Saratoga Springs City School District, Elementary Principal at Cambridge Central School and Saranac Lake Central School District, and Elementary Education Teacher at North Colonie Central School District. Colleen holds a Doctor of Education in Leadership, along with several other advanced degrees in educational leadership, literacy, and elementary education.
