Mitchell Merritt

Mitchell Merritt is a VFLW Assistant Coach at Port Melbourne Football Club since November 2024, bringing extensive experience in recruitment and coaching roles across various industries. Previously, Mitchell served as a Recruitment Specialist for Cross River Rail, a Doctor Talent Acquisition Partner at GenesisCare, and a GP Recruitment Specialist at Better Medical. Additional experience includes positions as Senior Consultant at JPS Medical Recruitment, Senior Account Executive and Account Executive at Robert Half, and Consultant at Robert Walters. Early in their career, Mitchell worked as a Senior Consultant in Agribusiness at Agri Labour Australia and engaged in fundraising for not-for-profit organizations. Mitchell holds a Master of Teaching from QUT and a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management from Griffith University, complemented by leadership experience as School Captain at Forest Lake State High School.
