John Dumas

John Dumas has a diverse work experience spanning over several years and industries. John'smost recent position was as the Director of Operations at the Port of Anacortes, a role they held from 2017 onwards. Prior to that, they worked at Cortland Company for a significant period, starting in 2001. During their time at Cortland, they held various roles such as Site Leader, Quality and HSSE Leader, and was responsible for managing manufacturing and fabrication facilities, meeting annual sales targets, and ensuring safety and quality standards. Before joining Cortland, John was the Administration Manager at Puget Sound Rope from 1996 to 2000, where they handled office administration and hiring administrative staff. John began their career in the US Navy in 1988, serving in various roles related to aviation maintenance administration until 1995.

John Dumas attended Skagit Valley College from 1992 to 1996, earning a degree in General Studies. John also obtained certifications as a LEAN Facilitator from Actuant Corporation and as an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor from the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS).
