John Klekotka

John Klekotka, P.E. has over 35 years of work experience in engineering and planning. John started their career at Reid Middleton in 1985, where they worked as a Project Engineer for 13 years. In 1998, they moved to CH2M HILL and served as a Project Manager and Structural Engineer until 2000. John then joined the Port of Everett as the Chief of Engineering & Planning in August 2000, where they have been working until the present. Additionally, they served as a Board Member at the Washington State Transportation Improvement Board from September 2014 to May 2022.

John Klekotka, P.E. received their BA in Humanities from Seattle University in 1982. John subsequently pursued a BCE in Civil/Structural Engineering from Seattle University, graduating in 1984. Later, they attended the University of Washington where they obtained an MSCE in Structural Engineering in 1994.
