Doug Eddy

Doug Eddy has extensive experience in logistics and operations management, currently serving as Terminal Superintendent at the Port of Longview since September 2018. Prior to this role, Doug held various positions at Armstrong World Industries from March 2012 to July 2018, including Logistics Planner, Manufacturing System Manager, Continuous Improvement Coordinator, and Distribution Center Supervisor. Key responsibilities encompassed production schedule planning, raw materials procurement, and leading projects focused on downtime, safety, and scrap improvement through Six Sigma and Lean methods. Doug's foundational education includes technical training in Electrical/Electronics Maintenance and Repair Technology from the U.S. Navy between 1986 and 1988.
