Avi Patel

Avi Patel has a strong background in project and portfolio management. Avi started their career as a Project Manager at BAPS Development Inc from March 2004 to April 2010. In 2011, Avi joined the Port of Portland as a Portfolio Analyst, where they tracked and measured project status and communicated portfolio health to the executive team. In 2014, they were promoted to Project Portfolio Program Manager at the Port of Portland, where they provided key information to the executive team, communicated portfolio health to stakeholders, and developed project/program and portfolio management tools and methodology. Later, Avi took on the role of Project and Portfolio Office at the Port of Portland in December 2017, where they owned the vision, direction, and project plan for the Project Portfolio Office and worked with various departments to maintain a strong culture around Project Portfolio Management.
