Mayra Arreola

Mayra Arreola, MPA, serves as the Chief Shared Prosperity Officer at the Port of Portland since September 2022. Prior to this role, Mayra held several leadership positions, including Director of Resource Management and Operations at the Oregon Department of Education, and Director of Equity, Governance and Communications at Prosper Portland. Mayra's experience encompasses directing community impact strategies at United Way of the Columbia-Willamette, managing diversity and inclusion initiatives at Rural Development Initiatives, and overseeing programs at the Oregon Association of Minority Entrepreneurs. Mayra earned a Master in Public Administration with a focus on Human Resource Management from Portland State University and holds degrees in Communications, Marketing and Publicity, as well as Public Relations and Strategic Planning.
