Boudewijn Siemons

Boudewijn Siemons has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the maritime and logistics industry. Boudewijn is currently serving as the CEO a.i. & COO at Port of Rotterdam since July 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Port of Rotterdam from October 2020 to August 2023. Boudewijn also served as the President at Vopak Americas from June 2016 to May 2020. Additionally, they held the position of Managing Director at Vopak Chemical Terminals Belgium from August 2013 to May 2016, and at Vopak Oil Rotterdam from May 2009 to July 2013. Before joining Vopak, Boudewijn worked as the Director of Business Development at Vopak from June 2006 to May 2009. Boudewijn started their career as an Officer in the Royal Netherlands Navy in 1984.

Boudewijn Siemons began their education in 1984 at the Royal Netherlands Naval College, where they studied Engineering until 1987. Following this, they pursued a Senior Leadership Program (BEGIN) at Stichting Bedrijfskunde from 2000 to 2001. Later on, Siemons enrolled at Delft University of Technology from 1990 to 1992, where they obtained their MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering/Economics.
