Donna Feledichuk

Dr. Donna Feledichuk has worked in post-secondary education for over 20 years at Portage College, as well as the University of Alberta and Chinook College in various roles including the instructor, program coordinator, instructional designer, curriculum specialist, and associate dean, and in senior leadership positions as Teaching and Learning Manager, Continuing Education Manager, Executive Director, and Dean.

Donna has a BSc in Medical Laboratory Science from the University of Alberta and worked in health care for several years before moving into the education sector after completing a Bachelor of Education in Adult Education. Donna started in the K-12 system as a high school teacher and progressed to a school administrator. She initially came to Portage College in 2008 as an Instructional Designer having completed a Masters in Instructional Technology from the University of Alberta and moved on to become the Coordinator of Learning Design and Technology. Donna left Portage College in 2011 to work on her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology with a focus on cognitive processing in older adult learners at the University of Alberta. While there she held the positions of Manager, Teaching and Learning for the Faculty of Arts and Executive Director of the Arts Pedagogy Research and Innovation Lab. Donna returned to Lac La Biche and Portage College and progressed into positions of Associate Dean and Dean.
