Asahi Takano

Asahi Takano is currently the Partner and Head of Asia Pacific at Portas Consulting. Prior to this role, Takano served as Director, Government Advisory at Tony Blair Associates from 2010 to 2015. Takano's experience also includes working as a Strategic Advisor at Tony Blair Africa Governance Initiative from 2008 to 2010 and as a Programme Officer at UNDP from 2006 to 2008. Takano's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford, and a Master of Science (MSc) in International Relations from the University of Bristol.
