Costiaan Mesu

Costiaan Mesu has a diverse work experience in business intelligence and data analysis. Costiaan started their career as a Stage intern at Fortis ASR Verzekeringsgroep N.V. in 1998. After that, they worked as a Functioneel Beheerder at Nederlandse Spoorwegen from 2000 to 2000. Costiaan then joined Endemol as an Information Manager, where they were responsible for setting up and maintaining management information systems using Business Objects. From 2006 to 2007, they worked as a Freelance Business Intelligence Consultant, analyzing information needs and implementing management reporting sets. At Diesis, they worked as a Business Intelligence Consultant, serving clients such as a television production company, real estate agent, and mortgage insurer. From 2003 to 2011, they served as a Dramaturg at het Nationale Toneel. Costiaan then joined Arts en Zorg, where they took on various roles including Senior Analyst, Team Leader, and Business Intelligence Developer. At Facilitaire Samenwerking Bevolkingsonderzoeken, they worked as a Business Intelligence Developer, responsible for storing and providing medical and process data. At Triodos Bank, they worked as a Business Intelligence Developer, focusing on data warehousing, ETL processes, and data governance. Currently, Costiaan works at Portbase as a Business Intelligence Developer.

Costiaan Mesu completed their education in two different fields. Costiaan attended HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Intelligence. Following this, from 2000 to 2003, they studied Theater, Film en Televisiewetenschap (en Nieuwe Media) at Utrecht University and received a Bac. degree. In addition to their formal education, Costiaan Mesu has also obtained multiple certifications in the field of Data Science. Costiaan completed various courses on Coursera, including "Python for Data Science and AI," "Data Science Methodology," "Data Science Orientation," and "Tools for Data Science" in 2022. Costiaan also obtained certifications in "Databases and SQL for Data Science" and "Python Project for Data Science" in 2023. Furthermore, they earned a certification in "Wherescape RED Basics" from WhereScape in 2020.
