Lisa Silveira

Lisa Silveira is a multifaceted designer and educator with extensive experience in the fashion industry. As the Designer/Owner of Wandering Muse since August 2011, Lisa has focused on creating transformative garments. In addition, Lisa has been a Sewing, Knitting, and Design Instructor at the Portland Fashion Institute since March 2010, developing a robust curriculum covering various aspects of apparel construction and design. Throughout the career, Lisa has held several roles, including Fabric & Notions Coordinator at the Portland Fashion Institute, Contract Designer at WeMa Designs, and a Technical Sketcher for Freelance projects. Earlier work experience includes positions at Clarins, Patrizia Fusi Firenze, and Nike Golf Apparel, contributing significant skills in design, prototyping, and material development. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Apparel Design from The Art Institute of Portland and has furthered education at institutions such as the Santa Reparata International School of Art and the University of Oregon.
