Nancy Bennett

Nancy Bennett is an experienced professional in environmental policy and public affairs, currently serving as the Manager of Environmental Policy at Portland General Electric since January 2023. Previously, Nancy held significant roles at the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality as the Interim Deputy Director and Policy and External Affairs Manager from February 2018 to January 2023. Nancy's career includes leadership positions such as Chief of Staff for Multnomah County Chair Deborah Kafoury and Co-Director of Government Relations, as well as serving as Vice President of Public Affairs and Political Director at Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette. Nancy began a career in advocacy as a Legislative Representative at the American Cancer Society and as a Legislative Correspondent for Congressman Ron Wyden. Academic credentials include a BA in Political Science from the University of Oregon and an MS in Public Policy from Rutgers University.
