Valentina Hernandez Marquez

Valentina Hernandez Marquez is a seasoned entrepreneur and designer with extensive experience in leading innovative ventures. As CEO and Co-Founder of Portrait Eyewear since January 2013, Valentina has prioritized the preservation of traditional Italian craftsmanship through contemporary design and fair-trade policies. Valentina also co-founded WeAppHeroes in January 2016, a mobile app aimed at promoting micro-volunteering within the collaborative economy, and Sunscious, a social-driven start-up focused on positive content sharing. Prior to these roles, Valentina served as Design Manager at Wagner Associati, managing design projects in the fashion and food sectors, and as Account Manager at DLB Group Worldwide, overseeing advertising initiatives for prestigious clients. Valentina holds an Executive Certificate in International Management and Strategy from CIMBA, a Master’s degree in Interior Design from Florence Design Academy, and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Studies from UCAB.
