Jeff Bazelmans

Jeff Bazelmans has had extensive work experience in the ports and maritime industry. Jeff currently serves as the Head of Business and Strategy at Ports Victoria since May 2022. Prior to that, they were the Executive General Manager Business, Information & Strategy at Victorian Ports Corporation from October 2016 to July 2022. Before that, they held various roles at Port of Melbourne Corporation, including Program Manager - Separation from October 2014 to October 2016, and Executive General Manager Business and Planning from January 2013 to September 2014. Throughout their career, Jeff has been involved in corporate strategy and planning, commercial management, risk management, and stakeholder management in the port industry.

Jeff Bazelmans completed their education with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Biochemistry and Chemistry from Swinburne University of Technology in 1979. Jeff then pursued a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Biochemistry and Chemistry at Monash University in 1980. Jeff went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biochemistry from Monash University between 1981 and 1986.
