Sharon Darcy

Sharon Darcy is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various sectors. Currently serving as Chair of CHEM Trust, Sharon focuses on preventing synthetic chemical pollution for human health and wildlife. Additionally, as a Non-Executive Director and chair of the Remuneration Committee at Portsmouth Water, Sharon contributes to the provision of drinking water to 740k customers while overseeing the development of the UK's first new reservoir in decades. Sharon also chairs the Linear Infrastructure Planning Panel, promoting good practices in infrastructure development. As the Director of Sharon Darcy Consultancy Services, Sharon specializes in sustainability, net zero strategies, and nature recovery. Sharon's previous roles include CEO and Associate positions at Sustainability First, and membership on several advisory and regulatory panels, including the UK Regulators' Network and the Solicitors Regulation Authority. Sharon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics from the University of York.
