Soumitra Dutta

Soumitra Dutta is the Dean of Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, a position held since January 2022, and also serves as Dean Elect. Dutta is the Founding Advisor of Green Frontier Capital, India's first climate change-focused venture capital fund. Additionally, Dutta is the President of Portulans Institute and a member of the Board of Directors for Dassault Systèmes and ZS. Dutta chairs the Board of GBSN and previously held the position of Dean at Cornell SC Johnson College of Business, overseeing multiple MBA programs and executive education. Dutta has an extensive background at INSEAD, where Dutta served as The Roland Berger Chaired Professor of Business and Technology, and founded a research center on technology and innovation. Dutta holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, along with multiple degrees in business and computer science.
