Remi Bakker

Remi Bakker has held a variety of roles in the wind energy industry since 2010. In 2010, they worked as a Traveling Technician at Outland Energy Services, where they traveled the United States working on large 2 Megawatt industrial wind turbines. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Part Time Student Intern at John Deere Tractor Cab Assembly Operations, collecting and organizing factory production data for presentations and creating daily reports for upper management. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Wind Turbine Gearbox Technician at Duke Energy Corporation. From 2015 to 2020, they were employed by Gearbox Express, LLC, first as a Sales Engineer and then as a Field Technical Specialist. Since 2020, they have been the Director of Wind Sales at Poseidon Systems.

Remi Bakker attended the University of Northern Iowa from 2011-2013, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Technology Management. Prior to this, they attended North Iowa Area Community College from 2008-2010, earning an Associate of Science (AS) in Electromechanical Systems Technology. Remi also holds an OSHA 10 certification from OSHA.
