Amit Nath

Amit Nath has been named Chief Executive Officer for Positive Technologies in December 2019. Prior to that, he has been spearheading the business growth of Positive Technologies in Asia Pacific (APJ) and has been responsible for global business development in the telecom domain for Positive Technologies.

Amit has over 20 years of experience in the IT/Telecom industry across different verticals like sales, marketing, operations, program management, and management functions. He has a deep understanding of the IT/Telecom security business backed by his unique ability to connect the dots from strategy to tactics. He is responsible for positioning Positive Technologies as a strong and channel-driven cybersecurity company over the world.

He is known in the industry for his track record with customers, strategic thinking, and passion for excellence and perfection. He has also had a good exposure in developing businesses across geographies. His deep understanding of managing and developing «value and volume» channels ensures an excellent channel experience for partners.

Prior to joining Positive Technologies, Amit Nath served as Global Sales Director based in Helsinki for F-Secure and held various country sales and leadership management positions in Asia Pacific and India during a five-year tenure. He has been associated with Trend Micro as Country Manager India and SAARC as well. In his earlier roles, he has also worked as RSM North at Dell India, Regional Account Manager based in Kuala Lumpur at Dell and Global Program Manager in India and APAC (Global Accounts) at Dell.

He holds a BE (mechanical degree) and an MBA from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies. He furthered his qualification with an Executive Program from National University of Singapore.

A regular commentator in media, he has written and spoken extensively on information technology, security industry issues, and upcoming technologies. As an industry veteran, he has been sharing his domain knowledge and growth strategies as a guest speaker at various CIO-, CSO-, and channel-focused industry forums as well.
