Stan J. Wischnowski

Stan Wischnowski is an accomplished journalist with extensive leadership experience in the field of journalism. Currently serving as the Executive Editor and Vice President of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette since September 2020, Wischnowski previously held various key positions at The Philadelphia Inquirer from August 2000 to June 2020, culminating in the role of Executive Editor and Senior Vice President. Additionally, Wischnowski's career includes tenures as Deputy Managing Editor/Acting Managing Editor at the Democrat and Chronicle from May 1996 to July 2000 and News Editor at The Detroit News from July 1993 to May 1996. Wischnowski holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Western Illinois University.
