Deputy Director - Compliance Division at Postal Regulatory Commission

Jessica Raines has a diverse work experience with various roles and responsibilities. Jessica is currently working as the Deputy Director in the Compliance Division at the Postal Regulatory Commission since December 2021. Prior to this, they held multiple positions at the United States Postal Service (USPS), including Manager of Advanced Strategic Research and Strategic Research Analyst in the Advanced Strategic Research department from May 2020 to December 2021. Jessica also worked as an English Teacher at English Opens Doors, Chilean Ministry of Education from July 2018 to November 2018. Before joining USPS, they were a Public Policy Analyst and Specialist at USPS OIG from July 2012 to June 2018. Jessica also has experience as an AmeriCorps Member at the Literacy Council of Northern Virginia and as a Byrne Grant Administrator at Region Ten CSB. In addition, they interned at UNESCO, where they wrote articles for a blog and worked on a social media initiative, and at Harrisonburg Probation and Parole, where they performed various probation officer duties. Jessica's earliest work experience was as an intern at Gemeinschaft Home, where they worked with ex-offenders in a therapeutic community.

Jessica Raines attended James Madison University from 2005 to 2010. During their time there, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Justice Studies, a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, and a Master of Arts degree in Political Science.
