Gurjeet

Gurjeet is a Senior Software Engineer at Amazon since 2022, with extensive experience in database technologies. As a contributor to the PostgreSQL Global Development Group since 2005, Gurjeet has made significant contributions to the Postgres RDBMS project. Previous roles include serving as a Fellow Engineer at Supabase (2021-2022) and a Principal Software Engineer at GE Digital (2016-2021), where responsibilities included ownership of Postgres-as-a-Service and Blobstore projects. Gurjeet was also a founding engineer for Amazon Aurora Postgres and developed a remote management software for Thales e-Security. With a background in database architecture at EnterpriseDB and experience in various software engineering roles across multiple companies, Gurjeet possesses a solid foundation in advanced computing, holding a postgraduate degree in that field and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Gulbarga University.
