Ashwita Palekar

Ashwita Palekar has work experience in various roles related to product design, user experience (UX), and user interface (UI). Ashwita is currently working at Postlight as a Product Designer. Prior to that, they worked at Woolf as a Product Designer, where they focused on improving the user interface and experience of the Learning Management Systems platform. Ashwita also incorporated new brand language and graphics throughout the platform. Before Woolf, Ashwita worked as a Graduate Assistant at New York University, specializing in web design and content management. Ashwita also had an internship as a User Experience Intern at Cortex-Vertical, Inc., where they redesigned a plugin in Adobe Premiere Pro for data asset management. Ashwita's previous experiences include being a Lead Experience Designer at Redd Experience Design, where they worked on various projects in industries such as Fintech, E-commerce, and voice-based services. Ashwita also worked as a UX Designer at Redd Experience Design, where they executed multiple projects using UI/UX strategies. Ashwita began their career as a UI/UX Developer at OODI Design, where they designed and implemented UX/UI concepts for websites and mobile applications. Ashwita also managed the development process for various marketing micro websites.

Ashwita Palekar completed their Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from B. M. S. College of Engineering during the years 2011-2015. Ashwita then pursued a Master's degree in Interactive telecommunications design from New York University, which they completed from 2019-2021. Additionally, Ashwita has obtained certifications in Java Programming and SQL Programming from NIIT Limited, although the months and years of obtaining these certifications are not specified.
