Hossam Gamea has a diverse background in product management and advocacy work. Hossam began their career as a Policy Analyst Associate at Day One New York, where they created policy recommendations for the NYS Governor's office and developed a Best Practices Policy Guide for youth-serving organizations. Hossam then joined Movement for Justice as an Advocacy Coordinator and later became the Advocacy Director, leading campaigns and initiatives to address systemic issues affecting BIPOC communities. Hossam successfully lobbied for policy changes and served as an expert speaker on social justice and economic policies. Hossam also worked as a Program Manager at Majlis Ash-Shura of New York, implementing government-funded programs and developing growth opportunities for member organizations. In the field of product management, Hossam worked as a Product Designer at G&G - Branding & Digital Marketing Agency, where they conducted user research, created wireframes and mockup designs, and collaborated with stakeholders to iterate designs. Hossam then transitioned to the role of Product Manager at G&G Marketing & Branding Agency, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize user flow and achieve significant improvements in user engagement and conversion rates. At Crux Consulting Consortium, Hossam served as a Product Manager, driving profitability through the delivery of automated tools and custom asset and data management solutions. Hossam Gamea holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Hunter College. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Stuyvesant High School.
