Gary Brown is a highly experienced professional in defense and research policy, currently serving as a Senior Research Fellow at the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies since April 2014. Key accomplishments include developing a transformative strategy for the Defense Health Agency and creating a 10-year modernization plan for the Naval Surface Warfare Center. Previously, Brown held the position of Senior Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, where responsibilities included managing programs for various defense agencies. Before that role, Brown served as a LtCol in the United States Marine Corps, overseeing global antiterrorism operations and strategic planning during significant military operations. Brown holds a Master's degree in Systems Technology from LSU Shreveport and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
