Michael Fritze

Michael Fritze is a Senior Fellow at the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies, where Michael leads research on policies related to microelectronics. With previous experience as Director of the Disruptive Electronics Group at the USC Information Sciences Institute, Fritze spearheaded initiatives in novel electronics technologies applicable to various fields, including space electronics and low power computing. As a Program Manager at DARPA, Michael Fritze managed a diverse portfolio focused on microelectronics research, tackling subjects such as radiation-hardened electronics and ultra-low-power devices. Fritze began their career at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, contributing to the development of fully-depleted silicon on insulator technology. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Physics from Brown University and a BS in Physics from Lehigh University.
