Wen-Chen HSIA has a diverse work experience in various legal roles. From 2015 to present, they have been a Chief Manager at Pou Sheng International, where they implemented legal risk management processes and officiated various projects in the sportswear market. Wen-Chen also worked as a Legal Counsel at Shanghai Wayding Law Firm and Lead Trend Attorneys-At-Law, resolving trademark disputes and FDI challenges. From 2015 to 2015, they served as the VP & General Counsel at SEWING Cultural and Creative Co., Ltd., overseeing global cooperation and licensing. Wen-Chen also worked as the Manager of the Legal Department at Shanghai Cross Ocean Property Development, where they managed legal affairs for multiple real estate projects. Additionally, they have experience teaching courses and working as a presenter in the media industry.
Wen-Chen Hsia has an extensive education history. In 1998, they completed their Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree in Law at Fu Jen Catholic University. Wen-Chen then pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Law from National Taiwan University in 2004. Following this, they enrolled at Peking University, where they achieved a Ph.D. (Doctor of Laws) degree in Economic Law in 2008. Wanting to further expand their knowledge, they attended two executive education programs in 2011, one at The George Washington University focusing on Multi-discipline Management of Technology on intellectual property rights, and another at the University of Washington on Multi-discipline Management of Technology, specifically on technology transfer and investment. Finally, in 2015, Hsia earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in American/U.S. Law/Legal Studies/Jurisprudence from the University of Minnesota.
