Michael Wilbourn

Michael Wilbourn is currently the Design Thinking Lead at Poudre School District for the Futures Lab, an equity-centered DCTS program. Michael also serves as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Staff Coalition Co-chair, responsible for planning courses on EDI standards for district staff. In addition, Michael is part of the Poudre School District Mindfulness Council and has held various roles such as Dean Of Students and Special Education Teacher. Michael founded and facilitates the Sustainable Design & Production Club for middle school students. Prior to their current position, Michael worked at Manassas Park City Schools as a Secondary Teacher and Recycling Coordinator. Michael holds a Graduate Certificate in School Administration and Supervision from The Johns Hopkins University, as well as certifications in Mindfulness in Education and Special Education teaching.
