Kelly Salicos Gallegos

Kelly Salicos Gallegos, MBA, BSN has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry, starting as a Pediatric Nurse at St Mary Corwin in 2003. Kelly then transitioned to roles such as Assistant Director of Nursing at Valley Wide Health Systems, Director of Nursing at Conejos County Hospital, and Administrator at Conejos County Hospital. Kelly served as the Chief Nursing Officer at UCHealth - Yampa Valley Medical Center before moving up to the position of VP of Nursing Associate Chief Nursing Officer at UCHealth in 2023. Throughout their career, Kelly has demonstrated leadership in areas such as quality improvement, patient safety, risk management, and corporate compliance.

Kelly Salicos Gallegos, MBA, BSN completed their Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in 2003. Kelly later pursued a Master of Business Administration from the Jack Welch Management Institute, completing the program in 2022. Additionally, Kelly completed a Patient Safety Fellowship at IHI/NPSF in 2012-2013 and a Leadership Fellowship at Advisory Board in 2017-2018.
