Andy Thorley

Andy Thorley has over 20 years of work experience in finance roles. Andy currently holds the position of Head of Finance Operations at Poundland & Dealz, where they have been since 2023. Prior to that, they were the Head of International Finance at the same company, starting in 2020. Before joining Poundland & Dealz, Andy served as the Finance Director at Kids Planet Day Nurseries in 2019. Andy also worked at Shop Direct for 9 years, where they held the position of Head of Commercial Finance. Andy'searly career includes a role as the Head of Finance at TJ Hughes and a position as a Commercial Finance Manager at Boots the Chemist. Overall, Andy Thorley has a strong background in finance and has worked in various leadership roles across different industries.

Andy Thorley attended Kings School Chester from 1979 to 1986. Andy then went on to study at Durham University from 1986 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Zoology.
